Well what a fantastic response to our Summer concerts... we had a few surprises in store with the first ever tap dance routine to 'One' including Amy, Jana, Karen, Rosemary, Pauline W., Tony & Trevor from the Rowland Singers along with the fabulous Stewart Singers. The Stewart Singers were also a huge hit with numbers from Cabaret, Chicago and some music hall favourites too, including a sing-a-long for the audience.
For the second summer running we sold out at Emmanuel and I speak on behalf of the audience and the choir who all had a fantastic time.
A huge thank you to Kathryn, our accompanist, who this year also took a turn at conducting The Blue Bird whilst Helen took the soprano solo. Kathryn also turned into 'Brian May' at the piano whilst the choir sang Bohemian Rhapsody.
Another massive thank you has to go to Helen for choosing such a brilliant set of music and whipping us into shape for such a great set of concerts... Here's to the next adventure!
