There are about forty singers in the choir, which was founded in November 1969 by Paul and Jacqueline Emery. The following year they performed their first carol concert in the Assembly Hall, Worthing, and the choir celebrated its 35th anniversary in November 2004. The choir prides itself on its varied repertoire. They sing carols at Christmas, oratorios and anthems at Easter, and show music, madrigals and popular songs in the summer. The Singers have been on several tours, both in England and abroad. Music for a Mid-Summer's EveSaturday, 21st Jun 2008 at 7:30pm Assembly Hall Joint concert with Contact: Helen |
